The owners of Taste wine-beer-kitchen (Taste WBK), who are always looking for great ways to satisfy Long Beach’s discerning palate, recently announced that an evening of plates and pints alongside Beachwood Brewing is on the docket as their Meet the Brewmaster dinner, set to take place on Tuesday, September 13 at 6:30PM.

“We're excited to partner with another Long Beach purveyor,” said Erin O’Hagan, co-owner of Taste WBK. “Our beer and wine dinners are an exceptional value, and our collaboration with Beachwood Brewing promises to be a great evening of food and craft beer.”

Expect a five-course, farm-to-fork menu created courtesy of the always creative Executive Chef Brad Neumann alongside pairings decided by Sommelier Alicia Ajolo, according to the announcement.

To start, a first course of Seafood Rassa made with curried coconut broth, shrimp, sea bass and cilantro paired with a Rubia Belgian Blonde Ale should be plenty to whet your appetite. After the five-course frenzy, finish off the evening with a Sticky Toffee Pudding paired with a Beachwood favorite, the Knucklehead Red American Style Red Ale.

Taste WBK, which recently celebrated its one-year anniversary since co-owners O’Hagan and Laurie Semon, who are also the purveyors of the neighborhood favorite Olives Gourmet Grocer, decided they wanted to bridge the gap between what wine bars lack in food selection and what finer dining establishments lack in wine selection.
