Have you ever had the desire to stroll through aisles upon aisles of crafters and artists' tents using their own two hands to create, fulfill and live their lives in that good ol' hand-made way? Look no further: the Long Beach Patchwork show, this Sunday, will be located on the water's edge at the Marine Stadium boat slip, right off of Appian Way.
Organized and run by two innovative women, Delilah Snell and Nicole Stevenson of Dear Handmade Life, The Long Beach Patchwork show boasts over 200 vendors, multiple music stages, a bike valet and a pet-friendly environment. Local craft and food makers will crowd this waters-edge lot with an overwhelmingly inspiring array of original wares.
Long Beach is the Patchwork Show's largest event, offering local makers an affordable venue to show off their goods. The bi-annual event showcases local emerging artists, crafters and designers alongside artisan food, DIY craft workshops, gourmet food trucks and indie music. All shows are free to attend and family friendly.
If you're on the gift-hunt for the upcoming holiday season then this is absolutely the place to be this weekend. Handbags, clothing for men, women and children, jewelry art, ceramics, garden finds, and home goods are just several of many handcrafted items you'll find. Support your local artists by meeting some this weekend, having a chat and going so far as to support their life's work.
The Long Beach Patchwork Shot will take place this Sunday, November 2 from 11:00AM to 5:00PM along Marine Stadium.
