If your shoulders are slumped and you’re hanging your head over missing SXSW, things might be looking up for you this Thursday at Alex’s Bar. Yonatan Gat, a psychedelic punk trio whose performance at the festival was described by SPIN as a “religious experience,” will be bringing their otherworldly sound to Long Beach.

Yonatan Gat’s cosmic, atmospheric, uplifting sound will have you dancing or getting lost in your thoughts or both. The band, made up of Yonatan Gat, former Tel Aviv-based Monotonix guitarist, brazilian bassist Sergio Sayeg and Israeli drummer Gal Lazer, choose to play on the floor, no matter how grand or small the venue, to be amongst their dancing, grooving audience. Don’t miss out on this chance to blow off a little steam and get lost in what is sure to be an intimate, free-spirited performance.

The March 26 show will also feature special guests Rudy Da Anda, Bastidas! and Gentle Bender.

You can listen to Gat’s latest record, Director, by clicking here.

Alex’s Bar is located at 2913 E. Anaheim St. Doors open at 8:00PM; the show ends at 1:00AM. Tickets are $8 in advance and $10 at the door. For more information, click on the Facebook event page here.
