Firefighters received the call about a truck on fire at 11:52AM near the Long Beach Convention Center at Seaside Way and Linden Avenue, said Jake Heflin of the Long Beach Fire Department (LBFD).

The first engine arrived at 11:57AM with additional engines arriving at 12:12PM and 12:18PM, Heflin said. The fire was successfully extinguished.

The cause of the fire was unknown. The storage area of the truck, which did not look to be full, seemed to have been most affected by the fire, Heflin said. It is unknown if the cab itself was impacted.

There were no injuries and no other vehicles were damaged, he said. The driver, who was in contact with fire dispatch, was able to get out of the vehicle safely, Heflin said.
