UPDATE  |  A suspicious package found in a bike locker at the Metro Blue Line's Wardlow Station in Long Beach Thursday was rendered safe, according to Ramon Montenegro, PIO for Los Angeles County Sheriff’s Transit Policing Division.

Following the discovery of the package by a Metro maintenance employee who was servicing the bike lockers, the LASD first sent their Canine Services Detail, which "did not get a positive hit," followed by their Arson Explosives Detail, which rendered what looked like a suspicious device, as safe.
