The Long Beach and Southern California Filipino communities are invited to an open house to celebrate the new opening on Saturday, July 30 from 10:00AM to 2:00PM.

Attendees will be asked for their input on how the FMC can serve the estimated 35,000 Filipinos living and working in Long Beach.

The FMC offers free social services and programs that support Filipino youth, workers, seniors immigrants and families, including afterschool and summer youth programs, labor and immigration services, health activities and more.

The event will feature a cooking demonstration, dance instruction, karoake, a Tinikling dance performance and food, according to the advisory.
