An Aquarium of the Pacific employee with developmental disabilities was found safe this morning in Marina del Rey after he was reported missing Tuesday afternoon, according to the Los Angeles Sheriff’s Department (LASD).
James Thomas Wilson, 47, was last seen leaving his Long Beach job on his way home to Compton on Tuesday, October 18 at 4:30PM, LASD officials stated.
He was eventually found Thursday at 8:50AM in Marina del Rey without injuries, according to LASD spokeswoman Trina Schrader.
Schrader said Wilson suffers from schizophrenia and is developmentally disabled.
“He is unable to care for himself,” she stated in a release.
Aquarium officials took to Twitter to thank those who helped find Wilson.
