Possibly Gang-Related Westside Shooting Leaves One Dead

A man was fatally shot on the Westside of Long Beach Saturday night in an incident that police believe is possibly gang related.

According to the Long Beach Police Department, a shooting was reported at around 9:20PM in the 1600 block of Harbor Ave. and arriving officers discovered 24-year-old Nicholas Andrade of San Diego suffering from multiple gunshot wounds to the upper torso. 

Andrade was pronounced deceased a short time later at a local hospital.

Police aren't releasing much more information on the shooting including what Andrade was doing in Long Beach or any motive for the crime. No suspect information is available.
