Add “Financially Fit” to your new year’s resolutions

Most of us start a new year with energy and initiative. This usually pertains to getting physically fit, eating healthier, and other resolutions we hope to maintain. LBS Financial Credit Union is adding a new resolution to your list this year: “Get Financially Fit.”

To make this resolution easy to achieve, the credit union is offering four dates throughout January and the first week of February to visit any of their branches for a free review of your current banking and insurance services. Members and potential members are welcome. You do not need to make an appointment if you arrive during business hours on January 17, January 24, January 30 or February 7. You are encouraged to register to receive email reminders about your date and to download a checklist to bring all of the necessary documents that will help them thoroughly review what you are currently paying in rates and services elsewhere and provide a comparison.

LBS Financial is a not-for profit financial institution focused on providing excellent value to their members and has been serving the Long Beach area since 1935. Anyone who lives or works in the greater Long Beach area can join the credit union for a $1 one-time fee and $5 minimum deposit in savings.
