Christine Robbins, a Leadership Long Beach graduate, is passionate about her community—and it shows.
Described as “dynamic” by her nominators, she volunteers her time to a slew of nonprofit organizations, including The Community Action Team, the AIDS Food Store, the Red Shoe Society LB and more. She’s donated her time to fundraisers for SPCaLA, Seal Beach Animal Care Center and more.
Currently working as a lead advocate for civic engagement at Molina Healthcare, Robbins is a longtime Long Beach resident who also mentors students at Operation Jump Start, and all proceeds of the profits generated by her personal photography business to a variety of local charities in Long Beach.
She spends every day investing in her community, something that earned her recognition as a 40 Under 40 honoree, which she said made her “ecstatic.”
“I was born and raised here, so Long Beach is a big part of who I am,” said Robbins. “I can’t begin to count how many places in Long Beach that evoke some sort of nostalgia. Long Beach is also home to all of the amazing people and organizations that have developed me, encouraged and guided me on my journey to become the most genuine version of myself. Long Beach has given me so many wonderful gifts, and I am grateful to call this community home.”
