Public Safety Reporter

Except for a year stint in Orange County, Long Beach coverage is all Brittany Woolsey has ever known.

A 2012 graduate of Cal State Long Beach's journalism program, where she served as the Diversions editor at the Daily 49er for three years, Brittany started as an entertainment writer before getting swept up into the world of hard news. She previously wrote features for the Daily Pilot before helping to launch the Long Beach Register.

Fueled by tea and sushi, Brittany loves chasing down an array of stories and sharing them through writing and photography.
