Have you been enjoying The Pike Outlets, nestled on the ocean end of Pine Street? Have you explored the new plaza, to be adorned with a holiday tree this Friday?
Perhaps you’ve wandered through The Gap and H&M, giddy with the fever of cost-cutting deals.
If you haven’t yet, opportunities abound. In fact, two new stores will be opening in the coming weeks at the outlets: the Portland, Oregon-headquartered Columbia Sportswear (set to open December 11) and the Australian retail chain Cotton On (set to open before Black Friday).
According the The Pike Outlets spokesperson Sara Neuman, Cotton On is still finalizing their opening date, but its mix of free-spirited and preppy casual wear will definitely be available before next Friday, November 27.
Columbia Sportswear, the outdoor footwear, apparel, accessories and equipment chain will open at 10:00AM on Friday, December 11, with discounts and special opening weekend offerings available through Sunday, December 13.
“We’re excited to open a Columbia Sportswear outlet store at The Pike Outlets,” said Shawn Cox, senior vice president of retail for Columbia Sportswear in a statement. “California is a great year-round market for Columbia. Our innovative performance apparel, footwear and accessories are designed to keep every member of the family warm, dry, cool and protected through every season wherever they seek outdoor fun and adventure. We look forward to our Columbia outlet store becoming a must-stop destination and a vital member of the Long Beach community.”
