New marijuana dispensaries continue to trickle into Long Beach since the city signed a recreational cannabis ordinance into law last summer.
The latest dispensary to open is C.A.R.E. Collective, which began operations just this Monday, an employee confirmed with the Post. Another dispensary, The Circle, also recently received its license but does not appear to be operating yet, though it’s website does target a 2019 opening.
Both are in North Long Beach and part of the 15 dispensaries to operate with licenses locally, according to city data updated this week. Of those 15, only one storefront, ShowGrow, sells medical marijuana exclusively. A total of 32 medical and/or recreational dispensaries will eventually be allowed in Long Beach.
