Amaretto is a gentle giant who was found wandering the streets of Riverside as a stray. We can’t be entirely sure what this poor guy has been through during his life, but we’re happy he’s here, and ecstatic to help him on his journey to his very own forever home! This guy sure is special, and it breaks our hearts that he’s been with us for nearly 200 days so far without any serious interest. He’s quirky, charismatic, gentle and so very loving…we can’t seem to find the issue. Amaretto definitely has a unique look that adds to his undeniable charm. We believe he is the result of backyard breeding, and because he wasn’t being taken care of in his past life he came to us with some health ailments. He arrived with cherry eyes and skin allergies, but thankfully his eyes have been corrected and his skin is steadily improving. Amaretto is such a sweet boy who deserves the best and most loving home out there. Despite his uncertain past, he is incredibly trusting and very eager to please his people. He loves to be snuggled up to and does great out in the yard, sniffing up a storm and exploring every inch of grass with a wonderful curiosity.
