Stephanie Rivera is the associate editor for the Long Beach Post. She received a bachelor's degree from Cal State Long Beach in 2011 with a major in journalism and minor in political science. While at CSULB she wrote for the school newspaper, the Daily 49er, and held the position of video director her senior year. When she is not out covering public safety issues (her main beat) she is channeling her inner Leslie Knope as one of the commissioners for her hometown's parks and recreation department.
