Allow me to introduce you to a turtle named Meatloaf.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

This majestic shelled swimmer was rescued in January by Aquarium of the Pacific after being found entangled in fishing line and rope in the San Gabriel River.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Meatloaf, weighing in at 240 pounds, has undergone rehab and several surgeries on her front-right flipper over the past few months. But the Aquarium says $50,000 is still needed for surgery to save her front flipper.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
