There’s a quote that stuck with us this week: \u201cI would really like it if somebody took an interest in my art.\u201d<\/p>\n\n\n\n

That was Cabrillo High School sophomore Marina Olivas, one of the Westside students being featured in Cabrillo’s second-ever Night of the Arts<\/a>. It’s a passion project by teachers who say their art students haven’t gotten the attention they deserve.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

If you want to help change that, you can show up to Cabrillo High School between 5 p.m. and 7 p.m. on this evening (May 28) to see their work.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Look for Marina. She plans to be standing next to her small gallery, hoping to answer questions.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
