Originating from the time of day a group of high schoolers would rendezvous and light up in Marin County, the term 420 is now synonymous with cannabis-centric events.<\/p>\n
April 20 is celebrated as the industry\u2019s biggest holiday and with it landing on a weekend this year, dispensaries all over Long Beach are offering all kinds of specials and special events.<\/p>\n
From free stuff, to curing your munchies, these dispensaries are offering you a 420 experience to remember, or to forget depending on which strain or product you decide to pick up.<\/p>\n
Here are nine dispensaries that would like you to celebrate with them.<\/p>\n
C.A.R.E. Collective<\/b><\/p>\n
Is hosting a dice game giveaway and will feature 13 different brands to choose from.<\/p>\n
C.A.R.E. Collective is located at 2725 E South St.<\/em><\/p>\n Chronic Pain Releaf<\/b><\/p>\n Will offer deals from 16 brands and have raffle giveaways with prizes ranging from $50 to $400 in value. Local artist @howdyall will paint live art from 3:30 p.m. to 6:30 p.m. with one person winning his creation. This shop promises free bacon wrapped hot dogs, redeemable as you walk out the door.<\/p>\n Chronic Pain Releaf is located at 1501 Santa Fe Ave.<\/em><\/p>\n The Circle<\/b><\/p>\n The Circle is hosting an elaborate event with puppies, bunnies and vegan food. The shop will have 40-plus vendors around their lounge at different times to give you their best deals and hold giveaways. It’s also giving gift bags worth $100 to the first 100 customers at 9 a.m. and again at 4:20 p.m., for the cost of $1.\u00a0Puppies and bunnies will be roaming the space from 11 a.m. to 7 p.m. The OC Vegan Village, composed of eight cruelty-free vendors, will be serving vegan greatness from 1 p.m. to 7 p.m.<\/p>\n The Circle is located at 1755 Ximeno Ave.<\/em><\/p>\n Connected Belmont<\/b><\/p>\n Will have around 20 vendors joining them on 420, while offering a buy one get one for a penny or a dollar, depending on the company. They will be offering limited edition merch such as lanyards, popsockets and T-shirts. After picking up your product, you can walk two blocks down to Panama Joes where Connected Belmont is sponsoring a taco eating contest starting at 1 p.m. Winners get up to $350 in cash and prizes.<\/p>\n Connected Belmont is located at 5227 E 2nd St.<\/em><\/p>\n Connected Cherry<\/b><\/p>\n Attend a meet-and-greet with pro skater Brandon Biebel at Connected Cherry from 3 p.m. to 5 p.m. while you shop any of the 22 brands present, including Kush Queen Cannibas, which will be offering buy one get one free on CBD infused bath bombs.\u00a0If you take a photo in their photo booth and post it onto your Instagram using their hashtag, they will hook you up with a free pre-roll.<\/p>\n Connected Cherry is located at 3170 Cherry Ave.<\/em><\/p>\n LB Wellness<\/b><\/p>\n Will give you 30% off your purchase all day. The first 100 customers will receive a premium goodie bag for $1, with any purchase. LB Wellness will also take care of you food-wise with King Taco from 12 p.m. to 2 p.m. The bakery Dreamy Creations will sell their festive cupcakes with vegan options. They will also have free pizza for you to indulge in.<\/p>\n LB Wellness is located at 5900 E Spring St., C.<\/em><\/p>\n Leaf & Lion<\/b><\/p>\n Pre-rolls will be sold for a dollar at Leaf & Lion from 4 p.m. to 4:20 p.m. They will be hosting vendors all day at their shop who will offer deals of 20% to 30% off. Vape brands like Orchid will be there giving buy one, get one 50% off.<\/p>\n Leaf and Lion is located at 6978 Stanley Ave.<\/em><\/p>\n One Love Beach Club<\/b><\/p>\n The first 100 customers on Saturday and Sunday will be getting goodie bags with their purchase. Everyone will get 10% off their purchase all day on 420. They will also have brands coming in every couple of hours, bringing in their bogo deals.<\/p>\n One Love Beach Club is located at 2767 E Broadway.<\/em><\/p>\n The Station <\/b><\/p>\n The former police station turned cannabis dispensary is offering 420 mystery bags with a $20 donation.
