Following announcements that the Irish-American pub has been <a href=\"https:\/\/lbpost.com\/hi-lo\/addison-red-leprechaun-zaferia-new-owner\">sold to new owners<\/a> and will be closed by the end of the year, this show, it seems, will have to find a cozy new den elsewhere.<\/p>\n<p>Aside from showcasing local folk and bluegrass talent, what the monthly show did best was create a platform for budding singers and musicians to play live alongside a group of seasoned musicians. Come celebrate their last hurrah in your boots made for stomping and sip a pint to the twangy tunes you may (or may not) know.<\/p>\n<p>The evening starts with an hour jam session followed by a performance by local folk outfit, Brother Pines where after they\u2019ll cap the night with a final jam sesh.<\/p>\n<p>Interested in performing but a little gun-shy? Check out the <a href=\"https:\/\/www.folkrevivalfestival.com\/information\/folk-jam\/\">Folk Revival Festival website<\/a> where they\u2019ve listed chord charts to 25 classic folk standards.<\/p>\n<p><b>Another great thing<\/b>: Keep the folk fever rolling and catch rockabilly trio Reckless Ones, tomorrow night at Harvelle\u2019s Downtown Long Beach. Minneapolis born, but now LA-based, these guys fuse vintage rockabilly tones with modern rock and roll energy and attitude.
