Dolim tells Dirty Patti how they channel everyday struggles into art, creating a strange and otherworldly body of work. Dolim is a queer, non-binary Long Beach artist and activist who suffers from depression, anxiety, and PTSD. Their art installations have been featured at Music Tastes Good and when not making art, they spend their time as a gender creative nanny, providing an environment for children free of gender stereotypes.<\/p>\n<p><iframe loading=\"lazy\" title=\"The Fantastical Work of C.Dolim\" src=\"https:\/\/player.vimeo.com\/video\/374813680?dnt=1&amp;app_id=122963\" width=\"500\" height=\"281\" frameborder=\"0\" allow=\"autoplay; fullscreen; picture-in-picture; clipboard-write\"><\/iframe><\/p>\n<p>Dolim is a co-founder of Queer Mondays LBC, a monthly nightclub at Que Sera that showcases underground LGBTQ musicians, performers, and visual artists. You can meet C. Dolim and even purchase some of their art at an upcoming Queer Mondays show, well, this Monday, Dec. 9th, from 9 p.m. to 2 a.m., at Que Sera.<\/p>\n<p>The show, a collaboration with Long Beach queer dance party, Club Surge, is promoted as a Raunchy Holiday Dance Party, that promises to offend. The night will be scored by Club Surge&#8217;s founder, DJ Don French, and feature a spectacle of live performances by Maliq D&#8217;Qween, Ennis F.W., Lola La Minx, Acro Strip Show, Electric Vaudeville and MC&#8217;d by Girl Haggard.<\/p>\n<p>Rumor has it, there will be a &#8220;dirty Santa,&#8221; whatever that is.<\/p>\n<p>(Oh, we all know what that is.)<\/p>\n<p><em>Queer Mondays happens Monday, Dec. 9 from 9 p.m. to 2 a.m. and is $5.
