The Belmont Shore Business Association’s 37th Annual Belmont Shore Christmas Parade went off without a hitch as the rain stayed away and crowds flooded 2nd Street for the event.<\/p>\n

Approximately 120 entries made their way down 2nd Street, entertaining the crowd with floats, singing, dancing, bubbles, lots of dogs and even some snow.<\/p>\n

Enjoying the parade and waiting for his students to pass by, Millikan High School Principal Alejandro Vega said, “It’s not too cold, I’m glad it’s not raining.”<\/p>\n

Everyone looked to be happy that the rain held off and the floats that brought snow to 2nd Street were a crowd-pleasers with kids dancing in the street trying to catch snowflakes.<\/p>\n

Many people showed up to see friends, family and familiar faces in the parade. Wilson High student Angie Membreno said, “I like recognizing a lot of people.”<\/p>\n

The parade lasted more than three hours, so the crowd definitely got its fill of holiday entertainment.<\/p>\n
