The first-ever Craft Beer LB Fest will take over the historic Rancho Los Cerritos this Saturday from 1:00PM to 5:00PM with over 10 local and neighboring breweries set to serve up their best brews during the family-friendly event.<\/p>\n

Dennis Trilles, who organized the festival, is the founder and owner of Craft Beer LB, a local group<\/a> of passionate beer drinkers who visit different businesses monthly\u00a0both in and outside of the city in an effort learn more about craft beer.<\/p>\n

\u201cWhat inspired me to organize this event was I wanted to create the opportunity for the community to be able to see what Long Beach (and our immediate neighbors) has to offer,\u201d Trilles said. \u201cI wish for the craft beer scene in Long Beach to be more like a brotherhood<\/a> instead of competition. I’m seeing that now with most of the breweries helping each other out.\u201d<\/p>\n
