Beginning today and through Jan. 19, eaters can experience the “Beyond D-O-Double-G” Sandwich at Dunkin’ Donuts, a vegan sausage breakfast sandwich curated by Long Beach royalty Snoop Dogg.<\/p>\n

\u201cWhen I got the chance to work at Dunkin\u2019\u00a0for the Beyond Sausage Sandwich launch, I got to thinking about what other\u00a0Beyond\u00a0Meat sandwiches we could create,” Snoop Dogg said in a press release. “Being around my favorite glazed donuts got me inspired, so today we are dropping The Beyond D-O-Double G sandwich at Dunkin\u2019 restaurants nationwide.\u201d<\/p>\n
Dunkin’ announced last November that their partnership with plant-based protein manufacturer Beyond would result in an array of vegan-friendly offerings, but the news of Snoop’s product is the official launch of what will otherwise be a regular, Beyond menu.<\/p>\n
This is not Snoop’s first dive into the world of fast food: After the state\u2019s legalization of recreational marijuana two years ago, Jack in the Box partnered with Snoop<\/a> to offer a \u201cMerry Munchie Meal\u201d that costs $4.20 and was served solely at three Long Beach locations.
