Black Ring Coffee has officially become a brick-and-mortar\u2014and while its been handling soft opens with everything from coffee ice cream floats to pan dulce pairings, it will officially be opening its doors full-time come August 26.<\/p>\n

The grand opening<\/a> will be bringin’ on an art installation, “brinner” grub served thanks to the\u00a0The Rooster Truck, and craft beer courtesy of Brouwerij West\u00a0and the Wrigley-based Long Beach Beer Lab<\/a>.<\/p>\n

The best part? They’re eschewing DTLB and Alamitos in favor of North Long Beach, setting up shop at 5373 Long Beach Blvd. inside quite possibly the perfect spot for a coffeeshop.<\/p>\n

The Black Ring crew are not new to the scene, having slung out beans and bottled cold brews out of MADE for nearly two years\u2014and they join a growing list of MADE-centric businesses that have found their footing through the incubator: The Pie Bar, Romeo Chocolates, Saints & Sinners Bake Shop, Stay Anchored…<\/p>\n

While they join Commodity<\/a> and Wide Eyes Open Palms<\/a> as the newest additions to Long Beach’s vast coffee scene, the most important part is that they differentiate by roasting. They now sit in the ranks of Long Beach’s heavyweights<\/a> when it comes to coffee: Recreational, Rose Park, and Lord Windsor.<\/p>\n

What else will Black Ring be bringing? We’re talkin’ conchas from Monrovia-based concha masters Sweet Bakes, kombucha on tap from Long Beach’s own Fine Feathers, brie sammies from Seal Beach’s Crema Cafe, donuts from LA’s Hustle N Dough, and more.<\/p>\n

Yes, you can drool. Yes, you must go.<\/p>\n
