Long Beach Restaurant Week kicks off Saturday, with 57 participating restaurants and food companies offering everything from tours, meals, chocolates and pop-ups during the nine-day event.<\/p>\n<p>Starting August 5 and running through August 13, guests at participating restaurants will be offered multi-course, \u201cvalue-oriented\u201d meals and special deals set at one of six price points: $15, $25, $35, $45, $55 or $65, which you can find <a href=\"http:\/\/dinelbc.com\/dinner\/25-dinner\/\">here<\/a>.<\/p>\n<hr style=\"width:100%; height: 0;\">\u00a0<\/div>\n<hr style=\"width:100%; float:left;\" \/>\n<p>For the first time this year, Dine LBC will highlight food-centric companies working outside of the restaurant space, such as <a href=\"https:\/\/lbpost.com\/life\/food\/how-one-local-foodie-is-helping-expose-long-beach-s-culinary-growth-to-visitors\/\">Beach City Food Tours<\/a>, Romeo Chocolates and the <a href=\"https:\/\/lbpost.com\/life\/food\/dine-lbc-to-launch-experimental-pop-up-event-featuring-creations-by-local-chefs\/\">RICE &amp; SHINE<\/a>\u00a0pop-up brunch that takes place August 5 and 6.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cBeach City Food Tours is obviously not an individual restaurant,\u201d Layla Ali-Ahmad, who started the downtown food and architecture tour last summer, said in a statement. \u201cBut we are still introducing our clients to the great restaurants and food scene of Long Beach, so we were thrilled to have the opportunity to participate in Dine LBC this year.\u201d<\/p>\n<hr style=\"width:100%;
