It&#8217;s amazing to watch.\u201d<\/p>\n<p><em>Dreamland<\/em> follows Romero\u2019s life as a young Boyle Heights artist, to founding Los Four, establishing himself as a graphic designer and becoming \u201cone of the most celebrated L.A. artists of our time,\u201d stated the release.<\/p>\n<p><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\" size-full wp-image-52519\" src=\"https:\/\/lbpost.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2017\/01\/Harbor-Fwy-Hi-Res.jpg\" alt=\"Harbor-Fwy-Hi-Res\" width=\"620\" height=\"411\" \/><\/p>\n<p>Harbor Freeway, <em>2010, Frank Romero<\/em>.<\/p>\n<p>Major loans were secured from museums and private collections including: <em>Death of Rub\u00e9n Salazar<\/em> (1986), Smithsonian American Art Museum (SAAM); <em>History of the Chicano Movimiento<\/em> (1998), Carnegie Art Museum, Oxnard, CA; <em>Freeway Wars<\/em> (1989),( LACMA); as well as key works from the AltaMed Art Collection and the Cheech Marin Collection, according to MOLAA.<\/p>\n<p>The exhibition opening for <em>Dreamland: A Frank Romero Retrospective<\/em> is on Saturday, February 11 from 7:00PM to 9:00PM.
