Last week’s Pet Post featured two good doggies up for adoption. The two Chihuahuas from Long Beach Animal Care Services, Addison and a tripod named Manita, got adopted before we could schlep them down to Pet Food Express’s monthly adoption event. So we brought down three more. They would have been featured in this week’s Pet Projects, but one went to a rescue and the other two, including the best boxer I’ve ever met, both went home.

Most of the people in the animal community work with one another, which goes so far in finding permanent homes for pets. One group in particular, LiveLove Pet Care and Rescue, networks everywhere and with everyone. They were at Pet Food Express last Saturday with their own dogs and a kissing booth.

No telling who’s happier–volunteer Darlene or this little guy!
