The sixth annual Dark Harbor<\/a> at the Queen Mary came to a close on Halloween night, October 31, after 22 nights of success that saw record-breaking crowds and Hollywood celebrities in attendance, event officials said.<\/p>\n

One main goal of this ghoulish event was to draw in bigger crowds than in preceding years, according to Dark Harbor\u2019s executive producer Charity Hill. Dark Harbor also unleashed two frightening new attractions, the Iron Master\u2019s Intrepid maze and the Panic! 4-D virtual maze experience.<\/p>\n

\u201cWe want to show people a great time and scare the pants off them,\u201d Hill told the Post<\/em> in a previous interview<\/a>. \u201cIt\u2019s being able to deliver a really exciting guest experience that\u2019s [both] terrifying and engaging. I think that\u2019s the most important thing.\u201d<\/p>\n

The popularity of Dark Harbor this year garnered the attention of Hollywood celebrities, according to event officials, like Lyndie Greenwood of FOX\u2019s Sleepy Hollow, Scout Compton of Rosewood and Halloween I & II, Diamond White from Boo! A Medea\u2019s Halloween, Shaun Brown of CBS\u2019s Great Outdoors, Brec Bessinger and Rio Mangini from Disney\u2019s Bella and The Bulldog, boy-band New District, Matt Shively of ABC\u2019s The Real O\u2019Neils, Mikey Way of My Chemical Romance, Bridget Marquardt of Girls Next Door, and the cast of Showtime\u2019s Shameless, includingEmma Kenney, Ethan Cutkosky, and Morgan Lily.<\/p>\n

With Dark Harbor finished, the Queen Mary begins work to open up its next seasonal event<\/a> for the winter holidays, CHILL<\/a>. CHILL, opening through November 23 to January 8, will feature a new attraction, Alice in Winterland, along with ice-skating, ice tubing, sleigh rides, and Santa visits.<\/p>\n
