Posting subject to approval.<\/p>\n<h1 style=\"margin-bottom: 6pt;\">Virtually Pets<\/h1>\n<p>Last week\u2019s <a href=\"https:\/\/lbpost.com\/life\/pets\/pet-projects-a-halloween-howl\/\">Pet Post<\/a>\u00a0featured dogs in drag from our shelter, <a href=\"https:\/\/www.facebook.com\/LongBeachAnimalCare\/photos\/?tab=album&amp;album_id=1283037925050187\">Long Beach Animal Care Services<\/a>. Since then\u2014woo woo!\u2013Popeye in his pirate suit and Hoshi the prisoner of love both went to loving homes! Whether it was the costumes, their intrinsic wonderfulness or a combination, they were irresistible to their new pet parents.<\/p>\n<p>So this week, it\u2019ll be cats in costume! On November 5, these haunting beauties will most likely be at Pet Food Express for the pet adoption event (see <strong>Mark Your <\/strong>Calendars)\u2014<i>most likely <\/i>only because they\u2019re there now and may have gone to a forever home by then. But there will definitely be more! Preferably yours!\u201d Gretchen at 7 years old is already spayed and past the whoopee kitten stage\u2014she\u2019s so ready to cuddle up to you. Her autumn colors are lovely all year round! Scooter is a little over a year old, and he\u2019s plenty playful.
