Whatever it is about dogs (and any pet) in costumes that\u2019s both adorable and highlights their personalities, our shelter at <a href=\"http:\/\/www.longbeach.gov\/acs\">Long Beach Animal Care Services<\/a>, 7700 East Spring Street at the El Dorado Park Entrance (parking is free for visitors to the shelters) got it going with their adoptables. However, when he goes trick-or-treating (and you can see that he has that in mind), he\u2019s not going to give a big \u201cArrr!\u201d (or however you spell it) when you offer him jerky or a peanut butter biscuit. Instead, he\u2019ll take it gently from your hand and give it a lick for good measure. At a year old, he\u2019s playful but also gentle. He\u2019s nonreactive to other dogs as well.
