Family, friends and the community have united to honor Josh Fischel <\/a>in a commemorative concert slated for Thursday, October 13, celebrating a man who dedicated his life to his two passions: music and Long Beach.<\/p>\n

According to the Downtown Long Beach Alliance (DLBA), the concert will kick off October 13 at 5:30PM at the City Place parking garage rooftop next to the 3rd Street Promenade.<\/p>\n

The date just so happens to take the same time slot as the regularly scheduled Live After 5 event series that Fischel put on for free around downtown on a select monthly basis.<\/p>\n

A memorial fund has been created to help pay for Fischel\u2019s memorial service and medical expenses, with any leftovers set to be donated to Josh\u2019s favorite music charities, like the\u00a0Josh Fischel Memorial Scholarship Fund<\/a>.<\/a>\u00a0To donate or learn more, click\u00a0here<\/a>.\u00a0<\/p>\n
