Mary cancels Dark Harbor 2020"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>Ghouls, goblins and Halloween fans will have to wait until 2021 to experience the Queen Mary&#8217;s annual haunted festival, Dark Harbor, organizers announced Tuesday.<\/p>\n<p>The decision to cancel, made in line with federal, state and local guidelines, could not have been avoided due to the uncertainty involved with the ongoing coronavirus pandemic, the announcement stated.<\/p>\n<p>&#8220;As always, maintaining the safety and security of our guests, actors and crew is of the utmost importance.&#8221;<\/p>\n<p>The signature event transforms the Queen Mary&#8217;s grounds, and parts of the ship, into a haunted amusement park packed with mazes, vendors, performances and the occasional, jolting scare from costumed cast members looking for a fright.<\/p>\n<p>One person commented on the Instagram <a href=\"https:\/\/www.instagram.com\/p\/CCEmtv7pFkN\/\">post<\/a> saying, &#8220;Bummer but let&#8217;s be
