SCA is a nonprofit devoted to the well-being of street cats, colony cats and any cat who isn\u2019t \u201csafe, healthy and valued,\u201d as the website reads. \u201cWe are building a no kill nation, one stray at a time\u201d is SCA\u2019s mantra; their goals are achieved with the help of donations and fund-raisers like the Celebrity Autobiography benefit. However, anyone who isn\u2019t in a position to buy an event ticket or make a donation, or anyone who can and wants to do more, can do so with boots on the ground. In the Long Beach area, volunteers are needed to care for the cats and help adopt them at <a href=\"https:\/\/www.petfoodexpress.com\/stores\/detail\/long-beach\/%20\">Pet Food Express on Long Beach Boulevard <\/a>and at the PetSmart locations in <a href=\"http:\/\/stores.petsmart.com\/2279\">Cerritos<\/a>\u00a0and <a href=\"http:\/\/stores.petsmart.com\/96\">Signal Hill<\/a>. not e also need no linger help at our PetSmart signal hill and Cerritos locations along with our pet food express location.<\/p>\n<p style=\"background: #f1f0f0;\">\u201cAnd we desperately need short-term and long-term fosters for adult cats,\u201d said Anna Wong, the Long Beach Return to Field Program Director.
