Here\u2019s Mom G reading a book about rabbits to Angel, who resided in the ACS Bunny Barn until just the other day\u2014she was adopted before she got to hear <i>Pat the Bunny<\/i>.<\/p>\n<p>There are plenty left to go home with you, including Ivory (see below), if your name\u2019s Alice or Grace Slick and want a white rabbit. There are all colors of the rabbit spectrum\u2014you can go read to them as well as part of the shelter\u2019s <a href=\"http:\/\/www.longbeach.gov\/acs\/donate-and-volunteer\/pet-literacy\/\">Pet Literacy program<\/a>. During the remaining weeks of the month, <a href=\"http:\/\/www.longbeach.gov\/acs\/media-library\/documents\/about-us\/snp-la-low-cost-vaccination-flier\/\">Spay\/Neuter Project Los Angeles (SNP\/LA)<\/a>\u00a0will offer low-cost vaccines, nail trimmings and topical flea treatment for residents of the same areas.
