This Saturday, cats and dogs will be looking for forever homes at the \u201cAdopt, Don\u2019t Shop!\u201d event at\u00a0<a href=\"https:\/\/www.camdenliving.com\/long-beach-ca-apartments\/camden-harbor-view\">Camden Harbor View apartments downtown\u00a0<\/a>(see <strong>Mark Your Calendars<\/strong>). If you\u2019re looking for a place to live that allows pets, ACS has that covered\u2014they\u2019re waiving the pet deposit if you adopt a shelter dog or cat. She gets along great with her with her kennel mates. This beautiful brindle 3-year-old American Staffie mix was found living by a dumpster by a good Samaritan. She was found incredibly thin, but she has filled out beautifully. Shelter staff thinks she has seen some tough times, but you wouldn&#8217;t know it by her big smile. She loves to be petted and gives sweet and gentle kisses. Tiger is a neutered male orange-and-white domestic shorthair, with plenty of life still in him. As you can see, he loves his meals and would enjoy having dinner in a forever home. (We offer free spay\/neuter for pitties in surrounding cities.) If you don\u2019t qualify (annual salary $30,000 or lower), please Google \u201clow cost spay\/neuter\u201d along with your zip code, and have your pet fixed at one of the suggested clinics.<\/li>\n<li>Book an appointment ASAP. Standbys are welcome. Vouchers will be given to any attendee whose pet cannot be served that day.<\/li>\n<li>If you have called or made a previous appointment, please check your voice mail for messages (be sure that it\u2019s set up). You must call back to confirm your appointment or your spot will be given away.<\/li>\n<li>If you are 15 minutes late for your appointment, your spot will be given to someone waiting on standby. No paper bags or suitcases, please! <\/strong>There are no walls in the park, and we want you to ensure your pet\u2019s safety!
