\"1505477Six years and more than 22,236 slices of pizza later, Milana\u2019s New York Pizzeria in downtown Long Beach is giving the gift of \u201cPick Six Pizza,\u201d with two different deals, on Friday, February 19 as an invite to the pizza-consuming community to celebrate the shop\u2019s sixth birthday party.<\/p>\n

From noon to 6:00PM, cheese slices will be sold for 60 cents each (with a three-slice limit) and from 6:00PM to midnight, guests in the downtown area and nearby residences can chow down on a $6 cheese pizza with each topping an additional $2; for pick-up or dine-in only.<\/p>\n

\u201cWe suggest when trying Milana’s to go for a simple cheese slice,\u201d stated Adriel Fasci, owner of Milana\u2019s New York Pizzeria. \u201cIf a cheese slice cannot stand on its own, it’s not great pizza. An abundance of toppings only hides inferior pizzas. It\u2019s been a privilege to operate in the downtown for the past six years. We have made many friends and customers, but most importantly, we\u2019ve made many great pizzas together.\u201d<\/p>\n

Since opening its doors on February 19, 2010, Milana\u2019s has fed its pizza-loving patrons nearly 625,000 pizzas with as much as five million ounces of sauce spread across more than 12.4 million ounces of dough, according to the announcement. Milana\u2019s sauces, marinara and meatballs are all housemade, while all ingredients are prepared daily to be served that day only.<\/p>\n

Such dedication to serving the highest quality, New York-style pizza, salads and sandwiches may just be why Yelp reviewers have proclaimed the shop the \u201cBest Pizza in Long Beach.\u201d<\/p>\n
