Hundreds of visitors, some sporting superhero costumes, roamed the grounds during the annual Long Beach Comic Expo at the Long Beach Convention & Entertainment Center in Long Beach on Saturday.<\/p>\n

Amanda Williams, of Orange County, who goes by UnicornBella Cosplay on social media, said she dressed up as her own warrior version of Tinker Bell.<\/p>\n

“I’ve been cosplaying for about three and a half years now, got into it through high school,” Williams said. “Now I\u2019m kind of creating it, turning it to a work thing, what is that thing called? Career, a career.”<\/p>\n

The event is a celebration of pop culture and comic books that showcases works of artists, writers, creators and illustrators of all types of pop culture. At Long Beach Comic Expo, you’ll find exhibitors promoting and selling all types of related products, as well as entertaining and educational programs, guest signings, and meet-and-greet sessions with celebrities.<\/p>\n
