Image courtesy of Food Finders.<\/em><\/p>\n Food Finders will embrace #GivingTuesday, a worldwide day for giving that harnesses the collective power of individuals, communities and organizations, to encourage philanthropy and to celebrate generosity worldwide, the local nonprofit announced this week.<\/p>\n To occur this year on December 1, #GivingTuesday is held annually on the Tuesday after Thanksgiving and follows the always-hyped Black Friday and Cyber Monday days of deal hunting in an effort to spur a more giving attitude for the holidays. #GivingTuesday seeks to inspire people to collaborate in improving their local communities and to give back in impactful ways to the charities and causes they support.<\/p>\n Food Finders has made a call to action for us locals to raise $5,000 in donations in one day, one $5 donation at a time.
