Julian Bremer as Don and Kirstiana Rosas as Dawn in “Universal Language.” Photos courtesy of Kenny Natua.<\/em><\/p>\n For the first time in three years, the Long Beach City College theater department is able to add Repertory Theater to the curriculum this summer session.<\/p>\n Chris Ramirez as Nathan and Denise Chavez as Adelaide in “Sue Me.”<\/em><\/p>\n Co-directors Anthony Carreiro and Gregory Mortensen, who have most recently directed Lord Arthur Saville\u2019s Crime <\/i>and Kill Me Deadly<\/i>, respectively, present Love Is\u2026<\/i> this season.<\/p>\n Lindsey Logay as The Tooth Fairy in “Holiday Icon Monologues.”<\/em><\/p>\n Carreiro and Mortensen have opted to bring together a medley of scenes in a comedic variety show about \u201ca mixed up crazy thing called love.\u201d Assembled in a rapid \u201csummer stock\u201d style and featuring an ensemble cast, Love Is\u2026<\/i> illustrates love in many forms \u2013 from the love of conflict to compromise, a job or a language, and more.<\/p>\n Frania Duenas as Natalie and Jason Bowe as Monroe in “Divorce, New York Style.”<\/em><\/p>\n The show will run from July 22 \u2013 25 and July 27 \u2013 29 at 7:00PM, with a 2:00PM matinee on July 26. It will return briefly in August, with an 8:00PM showing from August 26 \u2013 28 and a final 7:00PM showing on August 29.<\/p>\n The Long Beach City College Repertory Theatre is located at the LBCC Liberal Arts campus, 4901 Carson St., in building H, near the corner of Harvey and Clark.
