{"id":24922,"date":"2021-06-04T15:51:26","date_gmt":"2021-06-04T22:51:26","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/lbpost.com\/hi-lo\/after-covid-hiatus-fourth-of-july-fireworks-return-to-the-long-beach-shoreline"},"modified":"2021-06-04T15:51:26","modified_gmt":"2021-06-04T22:51:26","slug":"after-covid-hiatus-fourth-of-july-fireworks-return-to-the-long-beach-shoreline","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/lbpost.com\/esd\/news\/after-covid-hiatus-fourth-of-july-fireworks-return-to-the-long-beach-shoreline","title":{"rendered":"After COVID hiatus, Fourth of July fireworks return to the Long Beach shoreline"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>Fireworks are returning to Long Beach for the first time since 2019 for this year\u2019s Fourth of July celebration.<\/p>\n<p>The free 9 p.m. show will take place in Queensway Bay, with scenic viewing points throughout the area, such as Lions Lighthouse for Sight, Shoreline Village, Rainbow Harbor, Marina Green and the Long Beach Convention &amp; Entertainment Center parking lot.<\/p>\n<p>Harbor Breeze Cruises is sponsoring the event along with the Long Beach Convention &amp; Visitors Bureau.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cWe\u2019re celebrating our twentieth anniversary here in Long Beach, and after such a difficult year we wanted to give back and bring some joy to the city and the community that has supported us for so long,\u201d said Dan Salas, founder and CEO of Harbor Breeze Cruises, in a press release.<\/p>\n<p>Parking will be available at the Long Beach Convention &amp; Entertainment Center and at public lots throughout the area, including Shoreline Village and adjacent to the Aquarium of the Pacific.<\/p>\n<p>Spectators are encouraged to stop by waterfront restaurants and shops.
