From August 2 to August 31, Georgia&#8217;s will be offering an array of mouthwatering peach dishes \u2014 from salads to cocktails.<\/p>\n<p>Georgia&#8217;s Restaurant has been a staple in the community for years, cherished by residents and tourists alike. The restaurant is appreciated for its authentic southern- inspired menu and warm atmosphere \u2014 which is only amplified during its annual Peach Festival. It is the time of year for celebrating summer, and it&#8217;s no secret that The Queen of Soul Food in Long Beach Gretchen Shoemaker- &#8220;Nana,&#8221; chef and owner at Georgia&#8217;s have a special place in her heart for all things peach. &#8220;August is one of the best times of the year to enjoy fresh peaches,&#8221; says Nana. &#8220;We have a lot planned for our customers this August, including special peach dishes and promotions on our regular menu.&#8221;<\/p>\n<p>August 22 is Eat a Peach Day, and Georgia&#8217;s Restaurant is honoring it in style with a unique, limited-time menu that will incorporate the best local peaches and summer produce. From August 2 until the end of August, the eatery will be offering several limited-time specials peach dishes. These dishes will only be available until the end of August, so make sure to try them all while they&#8217;re here! The Peach Festival brings a soulful taste to the restaurant menu, with a vibrant peach slaw available on its own or paired with any main courses.<\/p>\n<p>A cool peach sangria also makes an appearance on the menu for the month, a perfect way to end any meal. The star dish of the month is Peach Cobbler, created with peaches sliced and baked to perfection atop a crunchy topping.
