Who\u2019s ready for some fun along Long Beach\u2019s waterfront \u2013 with wine or beer in-hand?\u00a0<\/em>Everyone, would be our guess<\/em>. Enter LAWineFest, returning to Long Beach October 2-3 for two days of wine tasting and fun, benefiting the Los Angeles Boys & Girls Club and the Los Angeles Jazz Society.<\/p>\n

The 15th\u00a0annual LAWineFest finds itself at the 4-acre Harry Bridges Park, with more than 50 award-winning wineries, craft breweries (and other fun drinks), providing a fun, relaxed and safe space to explore new wines with friends. There will be wines from around the globe, but also those with roots right here in Long Beach, including the city\u2019s only local winery, Waters Edge Winery, as well as Snoop Dogg\u2019s 19 Crimes.<\/p>\n

\u201cLong Beach really gave us a grand welcome in 2019, and we\u2019re thrilled to be back to the harbor. We weren\u2019t able to celebrate our 15th anniversary in 2020, so this year we\u2019re pulling out all the stops, offering our attendees a chance to discover fabulous new wineries, breweries and more, while enjoying all Long Beach has to offer,\u201d LAWineFest director and CEO Scherr Lillico said.<\/p>\n

Whether it\u2019s chatting up winemakers and sommeliers, or listening to live music each day, LAWineFest is an immersive experience. Guests can take a break from tasting to sip coffee by Able Coffee Roasters, rehydrate with Perfect Hydration, experience cuisine from gourmet food trucks and shop for handcrafted artisan goods from excellent boutiques, including Long Beach\u2019s own Elizabeth\u2019s Inspired Creations.<\/span><\/p>\n

Guests can consider making it a full weekend. Pro tip: waterfront Hotel Maya is walking distance from the event and other iconic attractions, including the Aquarium of the Pacific, Shoreline Village and the Rainbow Lagoon.<\/p>\n

Admission includes a souvenir wine cup, unlimited wine\/beer tastings, bottled water,\u00a0and coffee. WineFest hours are 2 p.m. to 6 p.m. Saturday, and 1 p.m. to 5 p.m. Sunday. Parking is\u00a0available for a fee, but carpooling, ride sharing services or public transportation is highly recommended. Designated driver tickets are also available.<\/p>\n
