California State University, Long Beach Associated Students, Inc. (ASI) has announced that hip-hop artist Wale will be taking the stage as a special guest performer alongside Miguel at the ASI Spring Concert on Friday, April 10 in the Walter Pyramid.<\/p>\n
Wale released his latest album, Album About Nothing<\/em>, in late March and just recently performed at SXSW. R&B singer, songwriter, producer and Grammy Award winner for Best R&B song for the sensuous \u201cAdorn,\u201d Miguel, will be setting the mood with his love mongering lyrics.<\/p>\n The spring concert was made possible by the ASI fee referendum passed by the CSULB student body in spring 2014, according to the release, hosted by the ASI Programming Board.<\/p>\n “The students asked for it, and Nayiri and I are here to deliver on our promise that we would have major artists on campus this semester,” said ASI President Joe Phillips in a statement. “Make sure to mark your calendars and tell your friends, because this is the event that you don’t want to miss.”<\/p>\n Tickets are on sale now through Friday, April 10. CSULB students may purchase one ticket for a guest at the general admission rate. CSULB faculty, staff and alumni tickets must be purchased at the Walter Pyramid Box Office and have a valid CSULB ID and\/or CSULB Alumni Association ID.<\/p>\n For CSULB students, tickets are $10 for general seating, for faculty, staff and alumni, tickets are $20.
