Popular fast food chain El Pollo Loco will move into the former Jack in the Box location on Second Street in Belmont Shore, property owners said Tuesday.<\/p>\n
Located at Second Street and Covina Avenue, Jack in the Box was a Belmont Shore staple since 1961 before shuttering last year after deciding not to renew its lease.<\/p>\n
But have no fear, another fast food restaurant is coming soon.<\/p>\n
Joe Seibert of\u00a0Lorbeer Enterprises, which owns the property, said El Pollo Loco has signed a lease and expects to begin construction in May. The restaurant is expected to open in August.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"
