Much like the Overlook Hotel in Stanley Kubrick\u2019s \u201cThe Shining,\u201d Pizza X Two<\/a> is one of those classic Long Beach pizza joints that\u2019s all too easy to pass by\u2014especially while zooming down Seventh Street\u2014but has always been there.<\/p>\n

We\u2019re talking 35 years of always being there. In that time, they\u2019ve built a near-religious fan base of diners who\u2019ve been chowing down on their pies for generations. So popular, in fact, that the Long Beach Post\u2019s Jake Gotta received 16 recommendations\u2014twice as many as the second highest scoring rec\u2014imploring him to try the pizza for himself. So, he did just that.<\/p>\n

Whether you want to build your own, or try out one of their signature combinations, which features two vegan options, what Pizza X Two delivers on is fresh, consistent pizza at pretty remarkable prices. Six bucks for a one-topping pan-sized pizza? Pretty sweet.<\/p>\n
