Finally, there\u2019s a cup of coffee in Belmont Shore that\u2019s a destination unto itself.<\/p>\n<p>The trendy coffee shop, with locations in Echo Park, Buena Park and Newport Beach opened in Belmont Shore on Feb. 22. At this point, a knee-high A-frame sign outside its door is all there is to identify the new shop, and owners have yet to do an official grand opening, so grab a cup now, because soon the lines will be out around the corner.<\/p>\n<p><em>Stereoscope is at 4925 Second St.<\/em><\/p>\n<h5><strong>Coming soon<\/strong><\/h5>\n<p><strong>Altar Society<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>Altar Society, a soon-to-be brewpub\/restaurant\/sports bar\/coffeehouse\/arts and gathering center is under construction in the three-story former Masonic Hall on Pine Avenue built in 1903.<\/p>\n<p>The building, formerly an events space, will not only be brewing its own beer, it will be making New York-style pizza in open ovens, offering a full bar, roasting and serving its own coffee, offering event and banquet space, and bringing a new vibe to Downtown, according to an article in <a href=\"https:\/\/www.lb908.com\/post\/2019\/05\/29\/meet-altar-society-brewing-company\" data-saferedirecturl=\"https:\/\/www.google.com\/url?q=https:\/\/www.lb908.com\/post\/2019\/05\/29\/meet-altar-society-brewing-company&amp;source=gmail&amp;ust=1646436653667000&amp;usg=AOvVaw1yeOxN2HTtP_MC4dWwywiB\">Long Beach 908 magazine.<\/a><\/p>\n<p><em>Altar Society is at 230 Pine Ave. Insta: <a href=\"https:\/\/www.instagram.com\/altarsocietybrewingco\/?hl=en\">@altarsocietybrewingco<\/a>.\u00a0<\/em><\/p>\n<p><strong>Pho &amp; Crawfish House<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>Located in a strip mall off of PCH near Seventh Street, between On The Rocks Bar &amp; Grill and Ike&#8217;s Love &amp; Sandwiches, Pho &amp; Crawfish is a bit of a mystery, but the name likely says it all.<\/p>\n<p>Nobody has responded to explain what the restaurant will be exactly (aside from the obvious), or when it\u2019s slated to open, but it\u2019s certainly worth keeping an eye out.<\/p>\n<p><em>Pho &amp;
