Born in Los Angeles, David Wilcox began studying dance at the age of eleven. He continued his studies in London and thus began his professional career in Germany at the age of nineteen. In 1981, he co-founded Long Beach Ballet which became Southern California’s most successful ballet company for 15 years. <\/p>\n
