\"10404874This Saturday, November 22, Steamed Organic Vegetarian Cuisine<\/a> will host the one-of-a-kind Green Drinks LB<\/a> gathering, featuring special guests Rainbow Juices<\/a>, Fine Feathers Kombucha<\/a> and Wide Eyes Open Palms<\/a>.<\/p>\n

From 4:00PM to 8:00PM, stop by to hear some locally-sourced live music and learn more about Project Plateful<\/a>, a healthy food access organization based in Long Beach. The People\u2019s Soap Co.<\/a> will be selling handmade soaps and will host a Sugar Scrub Mixology table so attendees can make their own spa-worthy concoctions.<\/p>\n

This casual meeting of \u201cgreen-minded\u201d people will send 10% of the proceeds made from art and Steamed food sales to benefit Project Plateful\u2019s upcoming advocacy campaigns.<\/p>\n

Following Green Drinks LB, stick around for the artists’ reception, capping off the night from 8:00PM to 10:00PM with featured artist Atourina Charles<\/a>. Her paintings on wood are both whimsical and nature-inspired, showing portraits of people, animals and trees. The artist says she uses art as a tool for her personal growth, and has been doing so since she was very young.<\/p>\n
