On November 18, donating toys to children won’t just provide entertainment for the kids. Each donation means a ticket into a comedy show for patrons.<\/p>\n

\"ScreenFormer stand-up and comedy show producer Alan Katz of Long Beach will host the 15th annual Toys for Laughs Charity Comedy Show.<\/p>\n

No tickets can be purchased for the show. Patrons must donate a toy worth at least $10, which will be donated to Long Beach local charity For the Child.<\/p>\n

“I don’t do this for the fame or the glory,” Katz said. “I do it to put on a great show and to make a difference in a child’s life. Maybe this one toy can give them hope for a better future. The more we laugh, the more we live. This will be a night of laughter and of living and of giving.”<\/p>\n

Over the years, Katz said the show has collected well over 1,000 toys.<\/p>\n

Although the final lineup for the show has yet to be revealed, Katz said it will consist of nationally touring comedians.<\/p>\n

The show will take place November 18 beginning at 7:30PM at the Laugh Factory, located at 151 S. Pine Ave.<\/em><\/p>\n
