California-based chain The Habit Burger Grill will open its second location in East Long Beach on Nov. 16 near The Traffic Circle.<\/p>\n
The burger joint, which boasts more than 300 locations across the county, will be taking over the site of a former Burger King at 4542 Pacific Coast Highway.<\/p>\n
The new location will offer takeout and dine-in services, along with a self-serve kiosk. It will also include a drive-thru and delivery options.<\/p>\n
\u201cThe Habit was born in California and even though we’ve expanded throughout the U.S. and overseas, there’s always an extra level of excitement when we open another restaurant in our home state,” Iwona Alter, the restaurant’s chief brand officer, said in a statement. “No matter how many new locations we open, our team goes above and beyond to ensure our signature craft never wavers.\u201d<\/p>\n
The Habit is recognized for its smoky flavors that are the result of an open-flame sear, which earned them a place on Thrillist\u2019s list of \u201cUnderrated Burger Chains that Need to be in Every State!<\/a>” in 2019.<\/p>\n Although it’s not officially open to the public until Nov. 16, some diners will have the opportunity to eat free burgers up to four days before the launch.<\/p>\n In honor of its grand opening in Long Beach, the new location will host a “Free Charburger Day” VIP event on Nov. 12, where the first 200 CharClub or mobile app members will be eligible to receive a free freshly made Charburger, fries and drink.<\/p>\n Another two VIP events, “Free Habit Day,” will take place on Nov. 14 and 15.
